Birds of a Feather
You know that old saying...Birds of a feather flock together. Yes, my friends, it is true. Which is why we have flocked together for years now. Merriam-Webster defines flock (verb) as to gather or move in a flock. I, Vanessa Kunz, define it as the act of being best friends. And the birds serve as a metaphor, representing us. As I sit here at work, pondering this thought and clearly not focusing on anything Restorative Justice related, I am moved by how thankful I am for you both. My fellow birds, my best friends. While my slap-happiness may have pushed me in the direction of this ridiculous metaphor/underlying theme, the sentiment is nothing but genuine. I love you both. Until next time...

Paigie's Post!
WELL I really have NO idea how to do any cool formatting since my days on myspace were so long ago, but at least I'm trying.
Stephie, thanks for your sweet note. I know we have talked about it before, but I know God works through our friendship. Every night that I would be heading to my apartment at midnight or 3 AM after a super stressful day, I was so lucky to have a note from one of you in my sad little mailbox. Those seriously kept me happy during a really rocky year. We are so lucky to have each other truly through thick and thin!
Ness, here is the song. If you play it at your wedding, I will pour something on your dress. Not really because that would be evil, but I will shoot you a terribly dirty look. I don't think it will be the first dance, but something important. I really like it.
PS - Speaking of weddings, I found this on pinterest that I think is a nice little way of thinking of things that we all can use...

The Blessing of Best Friends
Paige & Ness,
I hope you know how thankful I am for both of you. As I look back upon all the years that we have been friends, it amazes me how close we still are. It didn't matter that we went to three different Universities in three different states. We have been best friends through it all and I truly believe that we will continue to be for all the years to come. I am so blessed to have both of you in my life. I probably would not have survived college or living away from home if it were not for you guys. When everything seemed to fail, I knew you both were only a phone call away with comforting words of encouragement. It always brightens my day when I open my mailbox and see a cute card sitting there and immediately I know its from one of you. We have laughed together, cried together, and been by each other's sides no matter what. I am so proud of all three of us. We have each accomplished so many wonderful things and are becoming the people we want to become. I love you both so much and I hope you never forget how THANKFUL I am for you.
Love,
Steph
